the impossibility

OF TRANSFERRING AN IMAGE ONTO STONE THROUGH THE PRESENCE OF ITS CREATOR

"the impossibility of transferring a recording onto stone through the presence of its creator"

A coated transferpaper, made for transferring a drawing with lithographic ink was the last place  a spider walked on.  The traces it made with the lithographic ink show it’s last walk. Undeniable there is beauty in this... After having fallen completely in the can of litho-ink the animal kinda suicided and stayed there  stuck by the ink at the edge of the transfer paper. I could have squiched it as I was angry with  it because I found it eating one of my dead insects (study material) in my studio

Paper size 64 x 46 cm.  Presented horizontally in a plexi box of 67 x 49 x 4cm. 2006
