TRACE-RECORDINGS
Is an unfinished series of which now two are realised:
_Chat-mou_ and _poule-forte_
Both etchings measure 180 x 105cm, printed on white Zerkall paper of 350grs.
Paper size is 225 x 110cm.
_poule-forte_ is printed in 2006 on the press of the ‘Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles’. After finishing the whole series this work will probably also be printed in an edition of 4. Now only this artist’s proof in green exists. This line etching was a shorter recording (about 3 weeks) of chickens at their feeding trench. _poule-forte_ is preferably presented together with the digital print _poule-forte_Attachment_ as shown here. The digital print measures 105 x 72cm.
_Chat-mou_ is printed in 2005 on the press of Grafisch Atelier Daglicht in Eindhoven - Holland. The edition is 4, of which 2 printed in red and 2 in black. The soft varnish recorded over a period of 6 months the walking track of two cats living indoors and probably also from some ‘strangers’. This recording took place inside the house right at the cat’s entrance where no humans pass. _Chat-mou_ is preferably presented together with the digital print _Chat-mou_Attachment_ as shown here. The digital print measures 105 x 72cm.
